Former Concord Rangers attacker, Joel Nouble, is relishing his return to full-time football with Aldershot Town. Playing at semi-professional level for six years, Nouble signed for the National League outfit in the Summer.

His ball carrying essence and his strong hold up play helped him score 10 times for Concord Rangers. The striker also played a significant role in the FA Trophy, where the Beach Boys reached the Final for the first time in the Club’s history.

“I’m delighted for everyone at Concord. It is a great achievement and something that shouldn’t be taken for granted. They should enjoy the moment.”

The strikers last few Clubs have also included Haringey Borough. Nouble featured for the Isthmian Premier Division team in the FA Cup First Round Proper. This was Borough’s first appearance in the competition.

“Playing for those teams [Haringey Borough and Concord Rangers] helped me a lot.

“I was given freedom to play my game, which I feel is massive for players and that isn’t allowed everywhere. Those teams definitely helped give me the platform to express myself.”

Nouble came through the Academy ranks of Chelsea and Millwall, before playing at Dagenham & Redbridge, earning himself a contract. However, prior to his move to Aldershot, the striker had been playing semi-professional, working around the National League and the Isthmian Football League.

“It feels great here [Aldershot]. I haven’t been in a full-time environment since I was 18. It’s been a while but being able to do what you love daily is the best!”

“I’m enjoying it here a lot the players are great, the staff are great really settling in.”

The 24-year-old is excited for the new challenge ahead. Nouble has moved up in the non-league pyramid each season over the last couple of seasons.

“I’m looking forward to it to test myself at another higher level. Each year I’ve made the step up and done well. I’m looking forward to it.”
